June Beauty Haul 2 (DM)

Here is a new June beauty haul by me. I have purchased even more drugstore items in June (see here my blogpost about what I bought in the first half of the month). Here are the newly bought products alltogether (all bought in a DM):

I bought a couple of hair products:
The products are:
  • Alverde Feuchtigkeitshaarkur: This a conditioner I already bought and also emptied this month (see here my first june haul post and see my june empties post). I like it a lot and since its cheap I wanted to repurchase it although I also have a couple of other conditioners in my bathroom waiting to be used.
  • Sante Glanzspülung: This is a conditioner by Sante which is a german organic cosmetics company.
  • Sante Glanz Shampoo: This is a shampoo by Sante.
  • Balea Jeden Tag Shampoo Himbeere: A very cheap shampoo by Balea with a great scent like berries. I am curious how it will perform.
I also purchased a couple of body lotions and shower gels:

The products are:
  • Alverde Mamaglück: A body butter by Alverde for moms. It's mallow scented and I wanted to try this for some time now.
  • Dove Blütenzauber: A body lotion by Dove - a limited edition again, although I didn't want to buy any limited editions anymore. Usually, I also don't buy body lotions by Dove but I found the scent interesting and wanted to try it.
  • Alverde Cremeöl-Dusche Amaranth: This is a shower gel by Alverde. I emptied a bottle of it in May (see my may empties) and while I didn't like it at first, I fell in love with it while using it. It actually has been a christmas limited edition by Alverde, hence I was very surprised to find it at the DM in June and had to to take it with me urgently. It's very nurturing and I am looking forward to be using it again soon. :-)
  • Hipp Baby Sanft Waschgel Haut & Haar: This a shower gel for hair and body for babies and children by Hipp. It fits to the body lotion by Hipp, I showed you in my first June haul. In case it smells as divine as the body lotion, I'll enjoy using it a lot.
The makeup products I bought are these here:

I bought a nail polish by Catrice (Karl says très chic), have a look at a swatch here. I don't like it that much, I have to admit. But at least it was not expensive and I'll give it a second try soon. Then, I bought an eye shadow by Alverde in "Magic Sand" which I like a lot. Furthermore, I also bought a lipstick from the Nude & Flash LE from Alverde (in my first june beauty haul post I showed you the blush pearls). It's in nude pink, see the swatch below:

The last item I bought is actually not a makeup item. It's a manicure set. Here are more pictures:

Isn't it cute? :-)

Next month I want to be more frugal concerning beauty buys again. In June I bought far too many products and although I am using up a lot of them, it's not fast enough if I continue to buy beauty products in the pace I bought them in June. I have tons of products and I want to shrink them gradually in order to gain more space in the bathroom. I also plan to go through my makeup items in July and see whether there are some items I don't like that much anymore and can give away or throw away. Let's see what July brings concerning beauty.

Pink Box July

My Pink Box July arrived today and this is what was inside: Below you can see the pink box and the Brigitte Balance magazine.

Opening the box reveals a pink bow and the description of the content:

Advertisement and coupons that were shipped with the pink box: I really don't understand why the 20 Euro Coupon is also mentioned on the products list as shown below. It's just a coupon.

A group picture of all products and the magazine that were in my pink box:

The following products have been in my pink box (see a picture below):
  • an Astor mascara (Big and Beautiful False Lashes) together with an eye makeup remover sample by Astor.
  • 2 lip balms by Labello in the pink box: Labello Repair & Beauty which seems to be a new one
  • a nail polish by Catherine (have look below at my swatch)
  • 2 hair products
    • Garnier Fructis Wunder-Öl
    • C:EHKO Style jewel hair spray Diamond

A closer look to the description of the products:

Here is a swatch of the nail polish

My conclusion: I don't like my pink box this time at all. There is no product where I think: that's it and I am looking forward to trying it. In the June pink box it was the Bioturm body butter which I was looking forward to using. I already emptied it by the way. :-)
Only uninteresting products come with the pink box this time. The nail polish is a bit interesting though but I don't like the colour. I don't like red nail polishes and worst of all: I already bought 2 of them this month. If I knew that I'd get a third one I would not have bought them. I never use any hair spray and won't change that just because I got one with this Pink Box. The hair oil is interesting but I don't like the company Fructis and usually don't buy any products by them at all. Labello is also a company I usually avoid. I don't have any opinion about the mascara and the eye makeup remover. I guess I'll just try them but I have to admit that I am not that curious about them. The magazine is ok this time and I might even read it. But this is the single item of this box I am looking a little bit forward to.

I think I'll wait for the next pink box and if the next one won't convince me either, I'll end my subscription.

New in: Illamasqua Naked Strangers

Recently, I stumbled over the new Illamasqua Naked Strangers Limited Edition while browsing through the newest posts mentioning this limited edition at InnenundAussen and Nudeaddict. Actually, I try to keep away from limited editions (because I want to support the standard products since they can be repurchased without any limits concerning amount or time) and also from blushes (because I have far too many blushes - somehow I tend to collect them) but the swatches of the two blushes of this limited edition have made all my good intentions evaporate. The two blushes that come with this limited edition are a cream blush called "Zygomatic" and a powder blush called "Naked Rose". Both are very subtle nude rosy colours and as you might already have read between the lines of my blog: I am a sucker for nudish make up looks. Hence, I needed to order these two blushes.
They arrived today and after the first swatches and experiments with them I am really happy that I threw my good intentions overboard and didn't keep myself to my prohibition to buy LEs or blushes. These two blushes have the potential to become my favourite blushes of all times. They are just lovely and look great on me.

This is how they looked upon arrival:

Here is a swatch of the cream blush in "Zygomatic". It's a very subtle soft brownish rose colour. The colour is really difficult to capture in a picture and always turns out to be more brownish in pictures than it really is. It's a wonderful and lovely mix of pink and brown and it can create the most subtle flush of colour on the cheeks I've ever seen. Too bad that it does not belong to the regular product line of Illamasqua and is just available for a limited amount of time within a limited edition. As said, these blushes have the potential to become my favourite blushes of all times and I won't be able to repurchase them. This is *exactly* why I don't want to buy any LE products anymore. ;-)

This is a swatch of the powder blush in "Naked Rose". Naked Rose is also a great colour and a bit more pinkish than Zygomatic. It's still a very subtle nude pink blush. Really lovely. I also like how both blushes look combined.

Here is more information from the back of the products and from the back of the packaging, including ingredients (in both pictures Naked Rose is on the left and Zygomatic is on the right):

Anne Semonin @Radisson Blu

During my short trip, I also stayed a night with the Radisson Blu hotels. There you can find products from Anne Semonin in your bathroom. Have a look at the Anne Semonin products I found in my room during my Radisson Blu stay:

Normally, the beauty items that can be found in hotel rooms are not so special, but these ones are great. I am writing this post because I fell deeply in love with the body lotion. It's just perfect: the scent (lightly like verveine in a nice and subtle way), how fast it is absorbed by the skin, the application, ... everything. Because of this sample sized product at Radisson, I wanted to repurchase it and searched for an online shop but haven't found it unfortunately. :-( It seems that this specific body lotion can only be found at Radisson Blu hotels.
On the website of Anne Semonin there is an online shop but only this product seems somewhat similar: botanical body milk. However, it seems that it does not smell like verveine. And it is also very expensive with 48 Euro for 200ml. Nevertheless, the sample at Radisson has conviced me to add the botanical body milk of Anne Semoning to my wish list for somewhen in the future when I have enough money such that I don't have second thoughts when paying 50 Euro for 200ml of body lotion. And in the meantime I hope to be able to stay with Radisson Blu again. ;-)

The shampoo has the same divine scent like the body lotion, but I find it to be very drying and hence wouldn't want to purchase it. I think I wouldn't take it home with me after a Radisson Blu hotel stay either. It's not a good shampoo for dry hair like mine.

June Beauty Haul

In June, I have been shopping some drugstore items at Rossmann and at DM. It has not been one huge haul but several small ones. Furthermore, I have also orderd my first Clinique Chubby Stick (in mega melon) already last month via Ebay from a US seller. It's the travelling size since this is big enough for trying it. It arrived in early June, so I am including it in this June haul post.

Here is a picture of everything I shopped in June so far:

The make up items of the haul are 3 nail polishes, 3 lip sticks and 2 blushes:
The lip sticks are: the Clinique Chubby Stick in mega melon (it's a perfect my lips but better colour for me!) and two L'Oreal Caresse lip sticks in Lovely Rose and Dating Coral. Here are the swatches (mega melon on the left, lovely rose in the middle and dating coral on the right):
The blushes are the Alverde Blush Pearls from the Nude & Flash LE (see here an overview picture of the LE and a swatch of this blush in german) and the blush in 31 (starlet pink) from the Dita Von Teese limited edition of Artdeo. This blush is great. It's my favourite colour since it is neither too dark nor too bright and it is pink but has a bit of an yellow/orangy undertone. It's some kind of perfect mixture between pink and orange but pink is prevalent. I am always on the lookout for such a colour. It's the kind of blush colour that suits my skin tone best!

The 3 nail polishes are: 25 Femme Fatale (dark red, in the picture on the left) from the Dita Von Teese LE of Artdeco, "92 better late than never" by Essence (orange red, in the picture in the middle - I bought it because in August it won't be available anymore) and the effect top coat "08 night in las vegas" (in the picture on the right). My nails look terrible and I haven't applied the redish nail polishes properly (I have been too impatient and applied them to quickly and also haven't waited until they were dry). Sorry! I am an awful beauty blogger. ;-)
I am also not sure whether I like my nail polish purchases. Red is not my usual Go-To colour and the effect top coat by Essence is sparkling too much for my taste - I have to admit, I bought it only to pimp my boring MAC Endless Nights nail polish, similarly to Coral an Mauve.

Now let's continue with the skin care products: I have bought a huge amount of cleaning and makeup removing products. Eye makeup remover pads once by CadeaVera (CV) and two times by Rival de Loop. Furthermore, I have also bought a liquid makeup remover and 2in 1 face cleanser by Rival de Loop for face and eyes.

For hair I bought 2 hair conditioners, one of them being a hair mask. Both by Alverde from their moisturizing Aloe Vera Hibiskus hair series.

A body milk (Baby Sanft by Hipp) and a shower gel (Funky Jungle by Balea) have also been bought be me. And I have also been lucky since I got some cough sweets (by Krügerol) as a present while shopping at DM:

Last but not least, I also bought 3 spray deodorant samples. Up to now I have used only cream deodorants. Currently, I like to experiment with sprays and my 3 new samples are: Nivea invisible for black & white, CD Wasserlilie and Rexona clear aqua:

Nails again

It's weekend again and this is my nail style for the weekend (sorry, my cuticles are a bit dry and the skin around my nails is chapped). I used P2 Total Repair as a base, then MAC Endless Night which has been a limited edition nail polish from the MAC for Daphne Guiness LE. On top, I used Essie Good to Go.

I tried the whole morning to take a good picture of Endless Night, however, I haven't been successful. So, please have a look at Coral and Mauve for much better pictures of this nail polish. It is not quite as boring as it looks on my picture! ;-) The pictures by Coral and Mauve were also the cause why I bought this nail polish in the first place.

I like this nail polish but since I seem to never catch the light like shown at Coral and Mauve, I have to admit that I am a little bit disappointed. Next, I want to try this nail polish on my feet and hope that I like it better there than on my hands.

Hurried morning and beauty at the office

Thursdays, I usually work the full day at the University. I am a student finishing up her thesis which I can also do at home in theory. But staying at home for 7 days a week isn't good for my productivity, hence I also work at University from time to time and at the moment always on Thursdays. On such days, I of course still try to keep up with my daily sports routine. I do my cycling routine every morning immediately after getting up on my bicycle in my bedroom. This morning was very hurried because I have been out yesterday evening watching the European Soccer Cup 2012 (Germany was playing ... and we won by two goals to one ;-)). Each day, I also try to do as much biking as possible and still be as early as possible at the desk working. The earlier the better becaues I need to get some work done and this evening I can't stay longer since Thursdays evenings belong to my horseback riding course. :-)

This morning, I only managed to do 30 minutes of biking. Not much, but still! Afterwards, I always have to shower and rinse my hair since I perspirate a lot during my training. There is not much time for makeup. This morning, I only managed to do a quick eye care and eye makeup (eye cream (Weleda Wildrose), eye base (Zoeva), skin coloured base eye shadow (something from Alverde), MAC quarry for the crease, Bobbi Brown gel eyeliner in espresso and mascara (L'Oreal Voluminous in Carbon Black)). My eyes look great and I am very happy with my eye makeup. But I didn't have any time for face cream and blush. Hence I'll do this later in a bathroom at University. These are my emergency face products I have taken with me to University:

In summer, I don't need any foundation and concealer. My skin looks great when it is slightly tanned. And since it's not so dry in summer like in winter, it's happy with a skin care for normal skin. With my current face cream, my skin feels great and does not have any red spots anymore. The difference between winter and summer is really surprising. :-)
Hence, my emergeny products consist of a face cream (my current face cream is from Nonique and I love it in summer - in winter it is not nourishing enough), a blush (Nude peach by Bobbi Brown) and a blush brush (the great blush brush from Ecotools).

For working days at University, I also like to keep my makeup natural and beautiful, i.e. like my face but better. It does not have to be no makeup makeup but it should not be too colourful either. It should also stay the whole day as if just applied since I don't want to be bothered with having to reapply my makeup. With an eye base like Zoeva, my eye makeup stays the whole day where it should be. Sometimes I have problems with eye liner and mascara, but the gel eye liners from Bobbi Brown are just perfect and stay the full day. Even without a base. My current favourite mascara is the L'Oreal Voluminous mascara in Carbon Black. It doesn't only create stunning lashes, it also stays the full day - at least as long as it is not raining cats and dogs. Other mascaras tend to show on the lower lid after a couple of hours. But fortunalety not the L'Oreal Voluminous Mascara.

Further beauty and wellness products I like to have with me at University:
The products on the picture are:
  • silicone earplugs from Wellnoise: These are life savers when having to study in a noisy environment. They are also very comfortable to wear and my favourite earplugs.
  • Lakshmi khol: It's the colourless "Khol Men Cold" one which is less of a makeup product (it makes the eye ball whiter, however) but more of a wellness product since it is great when I am tired. I just apply it on the waterline and it's cold and it stimulates lacrimation. It's like a wakeup call and even prevents eye inflammation.
  • Migrastick: This is a peppermint oil stick. It's refreshing when I am tired and mitigates minor head aches.
  • Essence 2in1 hand & nail balsam: This is a light handcream that is quickly absorbed by the skin and does not disturb an ongoing working and writing process too much. It's not my favourite hand cream, but being sample sized it's perfect for the hand bag.
  • Gehwol med Nagelschutz Stift: This is a care stick for nails. My cuticles are very dry and my nails are very sensitive and I like to nurture them. ;-)
The only thing missing in the picture is a lip care or a nourishing lip stick. Normally, I don't go anywhere without one. But today I have forgotten it. Too bad ... I am a bit angry with myself and hope I'll survive this day nevertheless. Having very dry lips and being a lip balm addict like me can be a pain in the ass as can be witnessed here.

Pharmacy haul

Inspired by Lisa Eldridge and Essiebutton (who has been inspired by Lisa Eldridge as well ;-)), I have done my very own pharmacy haul end of May and ordered a couple of things from a pharmacy. Since I unfortunately do not speak any french, I had to order from a german pharmacy. 3 of the products, however, are french pharmacy products recommended by Lisa Eldridge and I really hope that one day I'll be able to browse through french pharmacies in Paris myself like Lisa Eldridge does. :-)

Here are the things I ordered:

The products are:
  • Shampoo and conditioner by Lavera (Rose Milk Repair Shampoo and Rose Milk Repairing Hair Conditioner)
  • Logona daily care Body lotion
  • Bioderma Hydrabio Riche face cream
  • Bioderma H2O micelle solution (makeup remover for sensitive skin)
  • Caudalie Eau de Beauté (also known as Caudalie beauty elixir)
As far as I know, Lavera and Logona are german companies. They are offering organic skin care and makeup and I usually like their products. Bioderma and Caudalie, however, are french.

Except of the Caudalie Eau de Beauté which I really love (I have taken it with me on my last short trip), I haven't tried the products yet. I am curious how I'll like them. If you'd like me to write a review of any of the products, just drop me a comment or a mail.

Pink Box June

There are several beauty boxes available in Germany and for a very long time, I just registered that they are available but did not feel any need to try them. I don't like the idea to be surprised once a month with a couple of beauty products. I rather prefer to buy the stuff that interests me and try it in the order that I find convenient. Additionally, there are areas where I have already found holy grails I don't want to mess about with.

In Germany, there is the Glossybox, the Douglas Box of Beauty, the Pink Box and very recently also the german DM released a DM Box. I don't know whether there are more such boxes available in Germany. These are the ones, I came across before and especially after the DM Box was released since this was the time when an interest into these boxes aroused in me. When the DM box was released last month, I thought "so what?" at first. But then, when no DM box has been available anymore (apparently, they all sold out within 2.5 hours!), I regretted that I didn't register in time for one of them as well. I even have been so disappointed about not being able to try the DM box that I decided to give another box a try. So, I had a look at all the boxes mentioned above. The Douglas Box of Beauty is also limited to a certain amount of users and I was not able to get one. But I am not that interested in the Douglas Box anyway, so I was not too sad about not being able to try it. The boxes that are available for anyone at the moment are the Glossybox and the Pink Box. The Glossybox is not very appealing for me, however, because I have read that they recently increased the price of the monthly subscription and a lot of subscribers were not very happy with the content. So, I decided to give the Pink Box a try.

The Pink Box seems to be well known in Switzerland. In Germany, it is rather unknown and also has a rather limited amount of supporters. In Switzerland it is well established and has a lot of supporters, similarly to the Glossybox in Germany. Nevertheless, I liked it compared to the other boxes (I'd only prefer the DM box over it ;-)). It costs 12.95 Euro a month and subscribers praised the content since there often seem to be expensive full sized products in the pink box. Apparently, the competitors only provide small samples in their boxes and hence the content is not really worth the money paid.

The June box is my first Pink Box which I received yesterday:
As you can see, my box consists of a pink box, an antiperspirant by FA and a magazine. It might be the case that the antiperspirant and the magazine are one time additions for the very first box. I am not sure but I think that usually there are only 5 products in a pink box. The magazine and the antiperspirant have not been mentioned on the black flyer attached to the pink box either (see a large and readable picture of the flyer below).

Opening the box reveals a cute inner packaging with a pink bow and black decoration:

Alltogether, my pink box of June consists of a magazine, 3 full-sized beauty products, 3 sample sized beauty products and 2 codes for reduced ordering of beauty products:
Full-sized beauty products (all three full-sized products might yield a price of around 12.95 Euro and this is the price of the box - so this is an acceptable deal):
Samples:

On the flyer which was enclosed in the parcel, the content is nicely described:

In summary, I am satisfied with the content of my pink box and I still think that this box is the nicest one on the german market at the moment (except for the DM box of course :-)). Although I would never have bought stuff by Fa myself, I will try the shower gel and the antiperspirant and I am sure that I will also empty both bottles nonetheless. The full-sized body butter by Bioturm is a very nice surprise and I am looking forward to using it. The samples will be used, too - for sure. I don't read magazines for women, so the magazine is kind of waste. But I am collecting pictures for scrapbooking and decorating stuff - so maybe I can find some nice pictures in the magazine. So, altogether I am not unsatisfied with my pink box.

Since I am not the typical beauty box subscriber and still prefer to try stuff I choose and not stuff that someone else chooses for me, I am not sure whether I'll keep my subscription. Currently, however, I think, I am not yet done neither with the beauty box experiment in general nor with the pink box experiment and I am curious about the content of the July pink box. I also appreciate that there are full-sized products in the pink box and the box itself is really cute and can be used as a means for decorative storage. So, I'll keep the subscription for now at least.
Isn't this a really cute box? :-)

By the way, here is an interesting video giving an overview of the DM Box and showing the very first DM box. I am indeed very jealous. :-/ But the Pink Box has comforted me well and has provided a kind of consolation! ;-)

Beauty Empties in May

May was just crazy! I was able to get rid of 21 products!! Wow, imagine: I now own 21 beauty products less! Isn't that great? :-D I am pretty proud of myself. I started the endeavour to use up my huge amount of beauty stuff last year in August. Before that I just constantly bought new stuff and never used it. I just found it too labourious to pamper myself on a daily basis and apply cream and all kinds of products all the time. But I found it appealing and I knew that I should do it because my skin is very dehydrated and dry and needs a lot of moisture. At the beginning it was not easy to start using all the products I had accumulated over the years. A lot of them had gone bad and so, luckily, I was able to throw a lot away at first. But some of it was still usable and I started to somehow adjust to applying cream each day. The first effects of using skin care on my dry skin were pretty amazing though. This motivated me even more to use up my beauty stuff and this is why I just kept using that stuff and even bought more of it. Since then, I was able to increase the amount of products I used up each month until now I even hit a peak I never thought would be possible.

However, to be honest: I don't think I will be able to keep up that pace of using up products I was able to manage in May. 21 products ... that's really a lot and I am pretty sure that this is an extraordinary exception! I was constantly creaming every part of my body at least once a day in May ... Imagine: I used 830 ml of body oil & body lotion last month!!! Even I myself find it hard to believe - although I witnessed that I did! :-D

Here are the products I used up in May:
and
and
 and

Since I started this blog in the middle of May, the products I have used up in the beginning of May unfortunately have been thrown away before I was able to take pictures. These products were:
  • Balea Dark Glamour Shower Gel
  • Alverde kleine Elfe Shower Gel & Shampoo (for kids)
  • Alverde Amaranth Creme-Öl Shower Gel
  • Alverde Fusspeeling Pinie & Lavasand (Foot peeling)
  • Weleda Wildrose Eye Cream
A short summary and my thoughts about the products, I emptied in May:
  • Shower Gel & Shampoo
    • Balea Dark Glamour Shower Gel: this was a limited edition by Balea. I didn't like the smell and won't buy it again.
    • Alverde kleine Elfe Shower Gel & Shampoo (for kids): this is a nice product, especially for travelling. I used mine especially for showering after swimming in the local public pool. I might buy it again. Not sure yet.
    • Alverde Amaranth Creme-Öl Shower Gel: This was a limited edition by Alverde. The smell was not so nice at the beginning, but I got used to it. And it was very moisturizing which I liked a lot. I will probably buy it again if it will available again.
    • Alterra Papaya & grüner Tee Shower Gel: This was a limited edition by Alterra. It was sold in a box with a body lotion (which I happened to also use up this month, see below) and a hand cream. Nothing special. Nice product, the smell was ok. It was not moisturzing. Don't know whether I would buy it again.
    • Primavera Lebensbaum Shower Gel: I didn't like the smell. Won't buy it again.
  • Body Oils and Body Lotions
    • Weleda Granatapfel Regenerations-Öl: Nice product, very moisturizing, but I didn't like the smell. Won't buy it again.
    • Weleda Birken Cellulite-Öl: Nice product, very moisturizing and nice smell. I might buy it again. Unfortunately, I don't like body oils that much. But this one was really nice.
    • Weleda Sanddorn Pflegeöl: Nice product, very moisturizing and really nice smell like fruits and oranges. I really love the smell and I might buy it again. Unfortunately, I don't like body oils that much. But this one was the best one of all body oils I tried.
    • Weleda Citrus Erfrischungsöl: Really nice body oil. It smells fresh and the scent is very light. It moisturizes the skin but not as much as the other body oils by Weleda, I used up last month as well. Nevertheless, for summer, this oil is really great!
    • Weleda Wildrose verwöhnende Pflegelotion (30ml Sample): Nice body lotion. Didn't like the smell though. Nevertheless, I might buy it again since it was pretty moisturizing and I liked how it felt on the skin.
    • Alterra Körperlotion Papaya & grüner Tee: Very moisturzing body lotion with a nice smell. I didn't like the packaging, it was really difficult to get access to all the product. I had to cut the packaging in two pieces as you see on the picture. I don't know whether I will buy it again because of the packaging.
    • Balea Himbeer Bodymousse: I didn't like the smell and also found it a little bit drying. Don't think I'll buy it again. But who knows, I already repurchased it one time. Sometimes I am a little bit inconsistent concerning body lotions. :-D
  • Face and Eye Creams & Make up remover
    • Cadeavera pflegende Reinigungstücher (Make up removing wipes): I love them. Will repurchase!
    • Cadeavera ölhaltige Augen Make-up Entferner Pads (eye make up remover pads): I like them and will probably repurchase them.
    • Weleda Wildrose eye cream: great eye cream. Love it and although I constantly try other eye creams, I also always come back to it. However in Winter it's not moisturzing enough over night. But it's a perfect eyecream for the day, also under make up.
    • Lavera Wildrosen Feuchtigkeitscreme: great day cream. Might buy it again
    • Weleda Wildrosen Nachtcreme: great night cream. Love it, used a lot of those up. Nevertheless, the scent is a little bit intrusive and this is why I keep trying other creams and don't stay with this one although it's moisturzing effect has a lot of holy grail potential.
  • Foot products
    • Alverde Fussbutter Pinie & Shoreabutter (50ml Sample): nice foot butter, nice smell, moisturzing, however I didn't like how the butter felt on my skin. I think I prefer more liquid foot creams. I don't think I will repurchase it again.
    • Balea wärmende Fußcreme: nice smell, feels nice, moisturizes. But my very last application of this foot cream made my skin break out and hence, I won't repurchase this cream again! I am even wondering if the warming effect has always been some kind of skin breakout.
    • Alverde Fusspeeling Pinie & Lavasand (Foot peeling): I won't repurchase it. I actually don't need such kinds of peeling products since I have a peeling glove I really like.
  • Make up:
    • Alterra Lash Definition Mascara: this mascara burned a bit in my eyes. Won't repurchase. I also didn't use it up. But it was definitely older than 6 months and this video about makeup expiration dates has convinced me to be a little bit more careful with mascaras.
